I chose this topic because I've been super interested in body art for a long time and I've been interested since I saw my aunt had one. When I was younger I looked up to my aunts and wanted to be like all them. I didn't just like tattoos because my aunt had them, I also had a very big interest in them. I love art, everywhere around us is beauty and art and I think that's what tattoos are about. I have tattoos myself so I'm even more interested and passionate about this topic.
I also chose this topic because I know that some companies don't let you show your tattoos. I don't understand why employers or companies don't allow employees to show off that part of them. I am annoyed by this rule so I want to dig deeper and figure out why this is a rule and figure out what can happen to make this rule not be one anymore under the circumstances. I'm trying to be biased about this research but sometimes it can and will be hard as I love tattoos and I think it's part of something special to people.
In some of my research, I learned that tattoos can maybe be a contribution to why the unemployment rate is so high. I've also learned that having the tattoo and letting them show sends of good vibes to others coming in the store or restaurant or wherever you work.
