More Research

Some states are super strict on more than body art. They won’t let people with colored hair or non-groomed workers work either. Nobody should judge a book by its cover but people still do. Volkswagen is just one of few businesses that let their employees show their existing body art. They said that if an issue came about with one of their customers they would address it and figure out if it needs to be covered up or not.

People with bad breath are ranked higher of not getting a job than having markings on their body. Tattoos are a way of expressing yourself. If you have appropriate tattoos it should be ok to show them if you have a curse word then I get cover it up. The person with the butterfly has had a different life than the person with the curse word but we can't judge them. Tattoos shouldn't be in a workplace (hyper link)

Companies don’t wanna play favorites or say that one tattoo is ok and the other one is not so they just cut them all out. I would say always think about your future and your career path, if your gonna go into a workplace that allows you to have body art then yes get them when you are younger but if you are not then maybe you should think about not getting them. Body ink could send off a positive vibe for younger adults and make them feel more at ease in the environment. Bartenders choose people to work there that have tattoos rather than them not having tattoos. In restaurants, they didn't want waiters having body art. Discrimination could be a factor if they decide to not let someone who has a cultural background and body markings because race could be a factor in their eyes.
