This guy had gotten multiple tattoos to show he was in the skinhead gang and he also got some of them as an achievement for doing the deed to get those tattoos/ rewards. I would in no way shape or form say that he earned those because the only tattoos on his body were symbols of bad things. For example, he had a straight razor on his cheek as a symbol that he killed people with one. He also had multiple tattoos symbolizing a Nazi.
This also can go back to me looking into facial tattoos I personally don't like facial tattoos and I think this is a perfect example of a tattoo that shouldn't be allowed in the workplace. This guy is showing us that he doesn't respect anyone and he is also scaring off others with all these rude and scary tattoos on his face.
This is him with all his tattoos on his face. |
One night he got super drunk and got in a bar fight and just wasn't happy and he started to feel angry but he felt like he could talk to this women because she made him feel comfortable in her trust. He then began with calling the lady and they talked for awhile but then asked her if she would marry him and she responded with yes. He then started hating himself for the bad things he did back in the day and really started hating his tattoos because it would remind him of everything he did that he now didn't like. Soon he started figuring out ways he could get them removed and he was lucky enough to have help from the doctors that did the laser removal. The doctor said they would cover his bill so he can have an opportunity to change his life around.
This man changed his life completely by getting a family, becoming a dad, going to church, and then getting his tattoos removed. One day he called up an old friend from his gang and the friend was a bit hesitant to answer him and hang out with him because of what people are capable of. The friend didn't know if it was a set up to beat the guy up, but then realized it was just a reach out to hang out with friends no gang relation at all. Later on in the documentary he hangs out with his friend again and realizes he was smack talking and bad mouthing this 20-year-old woman that left her on the side of the road. The man with the tattoos was not ok with that so he punched him, they are no longer friends because he doesn't know how to respect women especially because he was much older than that 20-year old that he used.
After he got into a fight with his friend he decided he wanted to reach out to this African American man that was also a preacher. He wanted to reach out to him because his whole life he was saying they were bad and didn't want anything to do with them. After three years of talking on the phone and waiting for the right time to meet they finally meet. The African American man flew down and spent time with them at their house and talked about their lives and childhood, to them this was someone they could trust but also a big step in the right direction.
After about maybe over 10 treatments he finally has gotten rid of most of his tattoos on his face, neck, and hands. He hopes that people look at him differently but that he also can look at himself differently. Until this day he's still with god and is trying to forgive himself and without all those tattoos he's dealing with forgiveness a little better.
